The U.S. Green Building Council (USGBC) is a non-profit organization focused
on expanding sustainable building practices. Deceuninck is one of the more
than 15,000 member organizations committed to the many components that
go into building environmentally responsible, profitable, and healthy places

First introduced in 2000, the voluntary USGBC Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design rating system addresses numerous areas of construction including:
