Sustainable manufacturing and materials
As one of the original members of Vinyl 2010, an organization of European PVC manufacturers committed to sustainability, Deceuninck has taken a proactive approach to responsible manufacturing, advocating and implementing continuous process improvements and materials improvements to reduce the environmental impact of engineered vinyl-based products worldwide.
We have taken a similar approach in developing our materials. We continually strive to create solutions that will offer beauty, safety and protection from the weather while respecting the environment.
- Kodiak composite decking and railing is composed of a 50-50 mix of 100% recycled pine wood fiber and High Density Polyethylene, making it one of the most eco-friendly composite decking materials on the market.
- Our environmentally-safe SunShield vinyl compound is formulated to withstand the harsh effects of weather and ultraviolet light and is warranted against rotting, rusting, cracking, warping, pitting, corroding, peeling, blistering or color failure—ensuring a long lifespan after which it can be recycled into new products.
- Kodiak composite siding featuring Twinson technology is a 100% recyclable alternative to hardwood using pine grown in sustainable forests combined with PVC.
